The PADI Advanced Open Water Course is the first step beyond basic certification and is designed to develop your confidence underwater by expanding your existing skills
Conducted on the Pro Dive Cairns three-day, two-night liveaboard dive trip, there is no more spectacular classroom than The Great Barrier Reef itself
Our course is designed to have minimal intrusion on the enjoyment of your liveaboard experience with ample time set aside to complete the knowledge reviews throughout the trip
Offers 11 dives with access to a selection of 19 outer reef dive sites on four magnificent reefs: Flynn,Thetford, Milln and Pellowe Reef
Diving at different times throughout the day, you will be able to encounter an amazing diversity of marine life
Night diving will introduce a whole new dimension of nocturnal life

Pro Dive Cairns 5 day PADI “Open Water” course combines the adventure of learning to scuba dive with the excitement of exploring the spectacular beauty of the Great Barrier Reef.

Itinerary
DAY 1 Cairns to Great Barrier Reef • 7:00am. Depart Cairns. Enjoy a light breakfast onboard as your Pro Dive Cairns “ScubaPro” vessel cruises to the Great Barrier Reef. • Enjoy 3 dives during the day at a selection of 16 Outer Reef sites. Your first dive (11:30am) is offered as a guided dive with an instructor. After dinner, it’s time for a night dive.
DAY 2 Great Barrier Reef • After an early morning dive enjoy a hearty breakfast before moving on to the second dive site of the day. Today you can enjoy 3 dives, followed by dinner and another night dive.
DAY 3 Great Barrier Reef to Cairns • Early morning dive followed by breakfast. Two more dives before lunch. • In the afternoon sail back to Cairns. Complimentary transfers to Cairns & Northern Beaches accommodation at 4:00pm.
Time
For participants with no pickup/drop off, please make your own way to/from Pro Drive Cairns Training Center at 6:20 AM.
Duration
3 Days 2 Nights.

Complimentary hotel transfers are available from Cairns City and Northern beaches hotels/hostels.
Additional Information
We recommend that you not fly within 24 hours of your final dive. Your final scheduled dive of the 3-day trip will be completed by 12.00pm.
Prior to commencing your dive course you are required to complete the self-assessment Student Diver Medical Declaration. A positive response to any questions indicates there is a pre-existing condition which may affect your safety while diving and you must consult a medical practitioner, preferably with experience in diving medicine, to obtain a dive medical certificate that states you are medically fit to dive.
Number of Pax on the day: 32 passengers and 6 crew.
Weather: The number of dives may vary subject to weather and/or other unforeseen circumstances.
$90 levy per person to be paid on board to the operator
Cancellation Policy
You can cancel your dive trip for any reason at any time up to 48 hours before commencement and receive a full refund. There is no refund for any reason after this time.
No Shows: Will be charged 100%.

Confirmation in the form of a tour voucher will be received at time of booking
Upon completion of purchase, please print the voucher and present on day of the experience
